I'm an uncle again! Monday night my sister Kathie gave birth to their second child, Ava Mae. She was born at 8:38 pm, at a healthy 7lbs 4oz. All these babies all over the place! My sister-in-law Melanie is also pregnant, so there will be three kids in my family separated by only a few months. All this thinking about Kathie and California got me looking through our vacation photos again. this is probably one of my favorite shots from the trip. On our last (non-travel) day there, we drove down the coast to see these massive elephant seals. We've done this before, but there were far more this year than any time before.
Today we had an appointment for another ultrasound with Steph's doctor. The appointment wasn't until 10:00am, but I wanted to go anyway so I could see baby Roach for myself. Unfortunately, the doctor decided to push the procedure back to next week, so I guess I'll have to wait until then.
